Mr. Mirza graduated from the University of Toronto business management program. He then worked in public accounting before deciding to pursue his JD/MBA and interned at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel during law school, where he was able to obtain valuable experience and also utilize his business and financial background.
After being admitted to the State Bar of California, Mr. Mirza worked in-house at a regional dual registered FINRA broker-dealer and SEC registered investment advisor firm for several years, where he primarily practiced corporate, finance, real estate and securities law. Since joining the litigation world, he has handled general liability, insurance coverage and bad faith cases. Mr. Mirza is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Central District of California and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a licensed Real Estate Broker in California and a licensed Real Estate Agent in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
In his spare time, Mr. Mirza leads an active lifestyle and enjoys lifting at the gym, running, hiking, watching sports (#GoKingsGo and #RamsHouse), playing with his puppy, reading, exploring Los Angeles and planning his next international travel adventure, having traveled to 20+ countries and with the ultimate goal of visiting every country in the world.
