Ms. Gilliam is an associate with Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara LLP in the Oakland office. Her practice area focuses on General Civil Litigation as well as contractual matters.
Ms. Gilliam’s passion for health and law drove her to pursue her legal career at UC Hastings College of the Law through its UC Hastings/UCSF Consortium of Law, Science & Health Policy program. While at UC Hastings, she was able to gather greater insight into health law litigation and personal injury through her internship with Medical Legal Partnership for Seniors Clinic. She stayed up to date with changes in health law through her service as the Hastings Health Law President and as an Editor of the Hastings Science and Technology Law Journal.
Ms. Gilliam built upon her skills through her work in the Health, Education and Welfare Department of the San Francisco Attorney General’s Office, Kaiser Permanente, a personal injury firm, a Workers’ Compensation defense firm and a health law firm, among others. Ms. Gilliam graduated from University of California Riverside in 2011, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in Law and Society. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2016. She is a member of the California State Bar and is licensed to practice in all California state courts.
