Ms. Rixey received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from Boston College. Following undergrad, she earned her Juris Doctorate and Masters of Law in International Business Transactions from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. During law school, Ms. Rixey served as a Staff Editor on the Denver Law Review and represented the University of Denver at the 2016 Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria. In 2016, her article Oil and Sustainability in the Arctic was published in the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy. Following law school, Ms. Rixey clerked for the Honorable Patrick Butler in the Twentieth Judicial District of Colorado.
