Heather Rogers is an associate in the San Diego office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara.
Ms. Roger’s received her Juris Doctorate from University of San Francisco School of Law. In law school, Ms. Rogers served as president of the Environmental Law Student and Alumni Association, literary editor of USF’s Maritime Law Journal, and Symposium Chair of the 2017 California Water Law Symposium. While in law school, Ms. Rogers externed for the U.S. Department of Justice Torts and Admiralty Branch. She spent her law school summers abroad, as a legal extern in Mexico City, Mexico, and as a commercial assistant at the U.S. Embassy in Santiago, Chile.
Prior to law school, Ms. Rogers attended the University of California, San Diego, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Literature, and studied for a year abroad in Spain. Following undergrad, Ms. Rogers moved to San Francisco, California where she earned an M.A. in English Literature at San Francisco State University.
Ms. Roger’s legal practice focuses on general civil litigation with a specialty in Admiralty and Maritime insurance defense. In 2020, she achieved a defense verdict in Admiralty against the United States in the Sothern District of California.
Ms. Rogers is a San Diego native, who is happy to be back living in her hometown. She is an avid hiker, ocean kayaker, and marathon runner.
