Kevin Francis Barrett has successfully represented clients in hundreds of lawsuits from inception through resolution, including trials, arbitrations, mediations, and federal administrative hearings. Mr. Barrett has extensive business transaction experience, and has represented over one hundred corporations in corporate and financing matters.
Most recently in 2019, Mr. Barrett convinced the court in Lopes v. Paragon Systems, Inc. (San Jose Superior Court Case No. 17CV311622) to rule in favor of BWBO’s client, Defendant Paragon Systems, Inc.; Obtaining a defense verdict plus costs. Paragon Systems is a leading national security service firm providing security to many critical federal agencies.
Mr. Barrett earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1987. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University in 1982 and his MBA from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1995. Mr. Barrett is admitted to practice law in California, Washington, Colorado, and New York. Mr. Barrett has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts throughout California and the United States.
