Mariam Rizko is an Associate at the San Diego office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara LLP. She brings valuable experience in both criminal law and civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on expungements in criminal law, as well as personal injury and wrongful death matters in civil litigation. Ms. Rizko has developed substantial expertise in drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and maintaining strong communication with clients, ensuring that their needs and interests are effectively represented throughout the legal process.
Ms. Rizko earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University in 2017 and her Master of Science in Criminal Justice from National University in 2020. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2024, completing law school in just two years. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2025.
While pursuing her Juris Doctor degree, Ms. Rizko actively engaged in the local legal community by joining organizations such as the San Diego County Bar Association, Lawyer’s Club of San Diego, and the Arab American Bar Association of San Diego. Her involvement in these groups reflects her commitment to networking and contributing to the growth and diversity of the legal profession.
Ms. Rizko is fluent in English, Arabic, and Chaldean, which has proven to be an invaluable asset when assisting clients who require translation support, allowing her to more effectively advocate on their behalf and ensure clear and compassionate communication.
In her free time, Ms. Rizko enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as being outdoors in nature and pursuing her passion for photography.
