As a Senior Associate with Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP, Ms. Cosgrove’s practice ranges from high exposure personal injury and premises liability lawsuits to residential real estate litigation and employment disputes. Ms. Cosgrove likewise specializes in sexual tort litigation for the firm, which comprises of sexual assault and/or battery, sexual harassment, molestation, and like claims.
Ms. Cosgrove graduated from Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law, in 2015 with an emphasis in Entertainment Law. While attending law school, Ms. Cosgrove received CALI awards in Negotiating and Drafting Media Industry Transactions, as well as Agency & Partnership. Ms. Cosgrove also served as a representative in the Student Bar Association for two years and actively participated in the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. During graduate school, Ms. Cosgrove likewise held numerous intern, extern, and clerk positions in a variety of legal fields, including: California Army National Guard JAG Corps; the Honorable Judge Ronald Kreber of the Superior Court of California; Fox Cable Networks; Oakley, Inc.; and several civil litigation firms.
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Ms. Cosgrove obtained academic and athletic scholarship to attend and compete as a two-year Captain in Division I Lacrosse at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Cosgrove made the Dean’s List; was member to the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi for ranking in the top 10% of her graduating class; university-nominated to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coach Association Academic Honor Roll; department-nominated as a Distinguished Communication Graduate; and member to several notable academic and honors associations and societies. Ms. Cosgrove graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and secondary major in Communication.
In 2009, Ms. Cosgrove competed in the FIL Women’s World Cup with the Irish National Team in Prague, Czech Republic. Ms. Cosgrove also coached lacrosse for a number of years, provided aid work in Kenya, Africa in 2010, worked in Switzerland in 2011, as well as continues to enjoy traveling the world and participating in non-profit work. Ms. Cosgrove lives with her future husband and Rhodesian Ridgeback in Newport Beach, CA.
