Ms. Powers is an Associate Attorney at Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara’s San Diego office. Her practice is dedicated to general civil litigation. Ms. Powers graduated with honors from the University of Southern California and received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, where she competed on the Moot Court Team.
After graduating law school, Ms. Powers completed a year-long litigation clerkship in the Complex Civil Litigation Unit and Criminal Trial Divisions of the San Diego City Attorney’s Office. The mentorship and training that she received there was excellent preparation for her to own and operate a successful boutique litigation firm for several years, specializing in educational, administrative, employment, civil rights, criminal, appellate, and personal injury law. With more than ten years of varied trial experience in the positions of both plaintiff and defense counsel, Ms. Powers offers a creative strategic vision for her clients to achieve their desired outcomes with tenacity, efficiency, and integrity.
Ms. Powers is admitted to practice in California, United States District Court for the Central and Southern Districts, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Powers is also a Board Member of the Young Professionals Committee for Big Brothers & Big Sisters of San Diego, and a recipient of the Wiley M. Manuel Award for Community Service Achievement from the California State Bar Association. In her off time, she enjoys long-distance trekking, equestrian sports, yoga, and global adventure travel.
