Mitchell Dao is an associate in the Newport Beach office. Mr. Dao attended Emory University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with highest honors. While at Emory, he was Vice president of the Emory Chapter of Phi Sigma Tau, the Philosophy Honors Society and was on the Dean’s List. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis School of Law.
During law school, Mr. Dao was an editor for the Business Law Journal. He was a recipient of the Edward L. Barrett Jr. Scholarship, named after the founding Dean and constitutional scholar. Mr. Dao served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mike Nakagawa of the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Nevada. In addition he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Allen Sumner of the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento, and worked as a legal research extern for the Legal Research Department of the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento.
Mr. Dao is a member of the Orange County Bar Association.
