Paulina “Polly” Tran is an associate attorney in the Newport Beach office practicing General Civil Litigation with an emphasis in general liability defense. Prior to joining Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, Ms. Tran’s practice focused on a variety of employment law matters, including workplace discrimination, harassment, FMLA, and like claims.
Ms. Tran earned her Juris Doctorate from Notre Dame Law School in 2020. While attending law school, she participated as an oralist on the Barristers’ Trial Team and competed with the American Association of Justice (AAJ). Additionally, she worked as a certified legal intern for Notre Dame’s Economic Justice Clinic wherein she provided legal services for low-income, indigent clients in a broad range of consumer law matters. She also served as the Secretary to the Food and Beverage Law Society and actively participated in the Women’s Legal Forum and Student Bar Association. During her time in law school, Ms. Tran externed for the Honorable Judge Susan Bryant-Deason of the Superior Court of California and worked for several civil litigation firms.
Ms. Tran earned her B.A. with a dual degree in Political Science and International Affairs from Northeastern University in 2016. During her undergraduate studies, she made Dean’s List and was an active member of the university’s Pre-Law Association, UNICEF, Alpha Epsilon Phi Panhellenic Sorority, and the Political Student Association. She participated in a number of cooperative education placements including at a large, international law firm in Boston, MA, and an international governmental organization in Belgrade, Serbia. Additionally, she participated in a semester study in European Relations at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris, France.
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Ms. Tran is an avid beach-lover and enjoys spending time outdoors, yoga, hiking, and traveling with her friends and family.
