Renee Castagna is an associate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara.
While in her undergrad at UCLA, Renee was a project director for the Community Programs Office, a student member of MEChA de UCLA, Los Hermanos Unidos, and a student member of the Community Service Commission. Renee received the Chancellor’s Award for Academic Excellence from UCLA.
During law school Renee was a recipient of the Wildman/Schumacher Scholarship, Southwestern’s most sought after scholarship award. As a law student she was a member of the Latino Law Student Association, a student representative for the Public Interest Law Committee, a student member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and Secretary of the Labor and Employment Law Association. Renee also took part in Children’s Rights Clinic which offers pro bono representation to low-income communities in special educational rights matters. While finishing her law degree, Renee held an externship at a personal injury firm in their labor and employment division.
Prior to joining BWB&O, Renee practiced Criminal Defense for a private defense firm handling all levels of cases in courts all over Southern California.
