Robin Whitley is an Associate in the firm’s Walnut Creek, California office. While attending Cabrillo Community College, Ms. Whitley worked at Safeway full-time in Scotts Valley. In July 2009, she joined the Marine Corps as a Field Radio Operator and went to South Carolina for bootcamp. She served in Camp Pendleton, 29 Palms, and Quantico. After Ms. Whitley’s honorable discharge in 2015, she started her bachelor’s program in Legal Studies, completing courses at night while working full-time as a paralegal in the areas of worker’s compensation, family law, and interned with the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.
In 2017, Ms. Whitley began law school at Santa Clara University, joined the Journal of International Law, and became the Senior Comments Editor. She competed in Honor Moot Court Internal and chose to argue the constitutional law issue, instead of the intellectual property issue. Ms. Whitley has clerked for a judge at the San Jose Hall of Justice, interned with the San Jose City Attorney’s Office, and worked for the Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center completing immigration intakes. Unfortunately, her post-bar with Santa Cruz District Attorney’s Office was canceled due to Covid, but she plans to become a prosecutor one day. Since passing the bar on her second try, she is thrilled to join Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP!
