Ryan P. McConnell

Ryan McConnell is an Associate Attorney at Bremer, Whyte, Brown, & O’Meara licensed to practice law in Nevada. Mr. McConnell attended and earned his Juris Doctor degree from William S. Boyd School of Law. During law school, Mr. McConnell was Articles Editor of the UNLV Gaming Law Journal, a member of the Society of Advocates Moot Court Team, and Co-Chair of the Frank A. Schreck Gaming Law Moot Court Competition. Also during law school, Mr. McConnell interned with the Kenny Guinn Center for Policy Priorities, and the Honorable Judge Michael P. Villani in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada. During his 3L year, Mr. McConnell was a law clerk with Murchison & Cumming, LLP, and then with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Consumer Rights Project.

After graduating law school, Mr. McConnell became a Staff Attorney for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Consumer Rights Project. There, Mr. McConnell primarily advised and represented tenants at risk of eviction during and following the COVID-19 pandemic. Following a move to Reno, Mr. McConnell worked for the Nevada Attorney General’s Office as Deputy Attorney General in the Personnel division. There, Mr. McConnell represented and advised state agencies on employment-related matters.

Prior to law school, Mr. McConnell was a studies teacher for middle and high school students. In his spare time, he enjoys watching basketball and spending time with his wife, son, and basset hound.
