In 2013, Sohaib Latif earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Irvine. In 2016, Sohaib earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. While in law school, Sohaib was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Constitutional Law. During his final year in law school, Sohaib externed for the Honorable Barry Russell, Chief Judge Emeritus of the United States Bankruptcy Court.
Prior to joining Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, Sohaib represented plaintiffs and defendants in general liability and contract-based claims, giving him insight into how both sides approach litigation. Additionally, Sohaib structured, negotiated and drafted agreements for multiple e-commerce startups. Before becoming an attorney, Sohaib assisted a mortgage lender with compliance and liquidity matters. Sohaib was part of a team that grew the company from 10 employees to 150 employees within four years.
Sohaib is licensed to practice in all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
