Meet BWB&O’s Employee Spotlight!

Meet Alejandra! Alejandra is a Paralegal at the Las Vegas office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP. Originally from Los Angeles, California, she moved to Las Vegas just before starting middle school. It was here in Las Vegas that she met her husband, and together they share a cocker spaniel named Charlie.

Alejandra did not originally plan to pursue a career in the legal field. It began as a job while she was attending college as an English and Education major. During that time, she discovered a genuine interest in the work, enjoyed learning about the firm’s different roles, and ultimately fell in love with the profession. Through dedication and hard work, she advanced from receptionist to paralegal.

Outside of the office, Alejandra enjoys traveling with her husband. Their recent trip to Maui was one of her favorites so far. She loved trying local cuisine, snorkeling, whale watching, and taking morning walks along the beautiful beaches. Another personal goal of Alejandra’s is to visit every Disney park around the world someday. She’s a huge Disney fan!

Q:  How has Bremer Whyte supported your professional growth?

A:  I have learned so much working here. If I have any doubts or am unfamiliar with something, I know I can go to anyone in our office and ask for help. There is a camaraderie here that I have not encountered in any office I have worked in before.

Q: What’s something that makes the Las Vegas office unique?

A:   Everyone here is so kind and just so fun. We also go big for holidays. I think one of my favorite holidays in the office is Halloween. I have never worked at a place before where so many people participate in all the fun office events.

Q: How do you unwind after a busy week at the firm? 

A: I like to unwind from a busy week at the firm by having game nights with my friends. Our favorite game to play right now is Love Letter. It is a card game that can be very fast-paced, but it’s a lot of fun.

Q: What do you enjoy most about traveling: the food, the adventure, the relaxation, or something else? 

A: I think I enjoy the relaxation the most about traveling. It is so nice to get away from your usual routine and experience new surroundings, and just slow down for a bit.
