Meet Conor! Originally from Wisconsin, Conor grew up on the baseball diamonds and went on to play in college before turning his competitive spirit toward the courtroom after an injury ended his playing days. After college, Conor spent two years working as an officer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, where he developed a strong sense of discipline and perspective that continues to guide his work today. That experience inspired him to pursue his J.D. at Marquette University Law School, where he also met his wife. They now live in Denver, Colorado, with their 11-month-old son and two dogs.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll likely find him hiking Colorado’s trails, cooking, or spending time with his family.
Q&A
Q: What position did you play, and what was your favorite memory on the field during college?
A: I was a starting pitcher. My favorite memory is definitely the fall camp freshman year, where I met most of my college friends. We struggled together, grew together, and succeeded together. Many of my teammates continue to be close friends with whom I’ve formed lifelong bonds.
Q: How does the office culture make you feel connected to your team?
A: The office culture is incredibly supportive and collaborative. Everyone is willing to share ideas, lend a hand, and work together for the best outcome. That sense of teamwork makes it easy to stay connected and reminds me daily that I’m part of a group that truly values professional growth and camaraderie.
Q: How do you balance the demands of legal work with your personal life?
A: Balancing the demands of legal work with my personal life and family takes intention, but it’s incredibly rewarding. I try to stay organized and focused during the workday so I can be fully present at home with my wife and one-year-old son. The supportive environment within the office makes it easier to maintain that balance and prioritize what matters most both inside and outside the office.
Q: Looking back, what are you most proud of in your journey so far?
A: Without question, becoming a father. It has changed how I see the world and taught me a lot about patience, gratitude, and purpose. Watching my son grow and experience new things has been an incredible reminder of what really matters.
A special thank you to Conor for sharing his experience with us!
