Before joining Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, Ms. Swaminathan served as a Deputy District Attorney at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office for over 3.5 years. During her tenure, she worked on a broad range of misdemeanor and felony cases, including driving under the influence, domestic violence, sexual battery, attempted murder, robbery, and arson. She successfully brought several jury trials to verdict.
Ms. Swaminathan also gained valuable trial experience at the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, where she worked during both her undergraduate and law school years and completed a jury trial to verdict.
Before moving to the United States, Ms. Swaminathan completed 3.5 years of law school in Brazil, where she developed a strong foundation in civil law and legal analysis.
Cynthia earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2018. While in law school, she was an active member of the Moot Court team and was featured in USF Law magazine as “The One to Watch.”
Ms. Swaminathan received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Legal Studies from the University of San Francisco in 2014, graduating with honors.
In her free time, Cynthia enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and children.
