Mr. Tsuru completed his undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He previously clerked for a firm in Carlsbad, assisting attorneys with matters involving subrogation, replevin, bankruptcy, and collections. Mr. Tsuru also completed an internship in Japan under a senator of the House of Councilors. Before becoming an attorney, he worked as a law clerk at Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP, assisting in a range of litigation matters, including landlord-tenant disputes, personal injury, construction defect, and more.
Outside of legal work, Mr. Tsuru has had a passion for golf. He competed in junior tournaments across Southern California and later earned a teaching certification for golf. In his free time, Mr. Tsuru enjoys golf, traveling, and discovering great food. He is also fluent in Japanese.
