Jennifer Barnes is an associate attorney practicing in the Newport Beach office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara. Ms. Barnes graduated from the University of California San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning and a minor in Law and Society. She is the first in her family to earn a bachelor’s degree. She is also the founder of the UCSD Figure Skating team, which has since become a qualifying contender at Collegiate Nationals for multiple consecutive years.
After undergrad, Ms. Barnes obtained her Paralegal Certification from Cal State University, East Bay, before proceeding to work for a fast-paced boutique insurance defense and cargo subrogation firm in San Francisco. After about four years, she moved back to her hometown, Los Angeles, and began working as an assistant at an international law firm.
She then decided it was time to pursue her dream of becoming an attorney. After earning her degree from Southwestern Law School, she became passionate about furthering justice for hardworking people, companies, and cities. She continues to fight zealously on her clients’ behalf and works to represent them to the best of her abilities.
When not practicing law, Ms. Barnes can be found reading with her children and watching their sporting events.
