A Legacy of Service

Founded in 1994 by Sheila Prell Sonenshine, the Annual Pro Bono Reception was created to connect newly admitted Orange County attorneys with meaningful opportunities to engage in pro bono and volunteer service. By bringing together members of the legal community alongside social service, arts, and cultural organizations, the Reception fosters collaboration and encourages a lasting commitment to community service.

Over the past three decades, the Reception has welcomed thousands of new attorneys in Orange County, serving as an important gateway to involvement, connection, and professional responsibility within the community.
