Reema Hassanieh attended University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Marriage of Family Therapy. During her undergraduate career, Ms. Hassanieh was selected to compete as a part of UNLV’s Mock Trial team, which furthered her passion for pursuing a legal career. She then attended and earned her Juris Doctor degree from William S. Boyd School of Law.
While in law school Ms. Hassanieh competed and earned a spot on William S. Boyd School of Law’s mock trial team, which allowed her to continue gaining trial experience. She also served as a staff member of UNLV’s Gaming Law Journal. Furthermore, Ms. Hassanieh worked with fellow Middle Eastern law students to co-found the Middle Eastern Law Students Association with the intent to connect with Middle Eastern law students and educate members of the legal community about her culture. Ms. Hassanieh also had the privilege of serving as her law school’s student body as president of the Student Bar Association during her last year of law school.
After becoming a part of Nevada’s state bar, Ms. Hassanieh continued her legal career as a criminal defense attorney and family law litigator. She currently serves as the secretary of the Middle Eastern Lawyers Association. Ms. Hassanieh is grateful for all the opportunities she has had as a member of Nevada’s legal community and is excited to continue her career as a part of Bremer Whyte Brown and O’Meara’s team.
