Andrew Mathews is an Associate Attorney in the Newport Beach office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara. Mr. Mathews has extensive experience in general civil litigation, specializing in personal injury, premises liability, wrongful death, and survivorship claims.
Mr. Mathews earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University where he studied abroad in Israel as a member of the Jewish Studies program and had the honor of interning in the United States House of Representatives in Washington D.C. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Mathews worked as a community organizer in Washington D.C. and Alaska, and served as the Deputy Campaign Manager for a new elected Congresswoman representing New Jersey in the United States Congress.
Mr. Mathews received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. During law school, Mr. Mathews was a Certified Law Clerk in the Hardcore Gang Division of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and was the recipient of the Korean Prosecutor Association’s Criminal Justice Scholarship.
Prior to joining Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, Mr. Mathews practiced criminal law, civil litigation, employment law, personal injury, and insurance defense cases at prestigious law firms in Los Angeles County. In his free time, Mr. Mathews enjoys playing golf, hiking, and volunteering at local animal shelters.
