Anissa C. Figaro

Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Trenton, New Jersey, Ms. Figaro has called the Bay Area home for several years.

Ms. Figaro is an associate at Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP’s Walnut Creek office. She has experience in Personal Injury matters and is excited to join the General Liability team.

Ms. Figaro graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law (USF) in 2025. During her time at USF, she participated in the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program, a prestigious training led by USF Alumni Doris Cheng ’98 and Elinor Leary ’03. In addition to her rigorous legal education, Ms. Figaro served as Development Director for the Moot Court Program and competed on the University of San Diego’s Criminal Procedure team, earning recognition during her second year of law school.

In her second year, Ms. Figaro also worked as a legal extern at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Northern California, contributing valuable research for their Police Decertification Project, which focused on addressing police misconduct. She further honed her legal skills through an internship at AccesSOS, a nonprofit technology organization, where she assisted attorneys with licensing agreements and trademark filings. Prior to law school, Ms. Figaro gained practical experience as an investigator at the New Jersey Public Defender’s Office and as a policy intern at the National District Attorneys Association in Arlington, VA.

Outside of the office, Ms. Figaro enjoys taking her two cats on a walk, trying new restaurants, and cooking.
