Alethea M. Ball is an Associate Attorney in the Newport Beach office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP.
In 2019, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine, followed by completing her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in May 2022. During her tenure at law school, Ms. Ball distinguished herself as a member of Santa Clara’s High-Tech Law Institute, attaining a specialization in High-Tech and receiving the esteemed High-Tech Law Certificate upon graduation.
Ms. Ball actively engaged in various litigation-based programs during her law school journey. She was pivotal as Vice President of Santa Clara’s Competition Trial Team, excelling in numerous mock trial competitions. Furthermore, she showcased her legal prowess as a participant in Santa Clara’s Honor Moot Court Internal Competition, achieving recognition for the second-best brief and securing third place in the oral argument phase among sixteen teams. Her subsequent appointment as the Public Relations Chair reflected her commitment to excellence.
Before joining Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, Ms. Ball gained valuable experience in estate planning, probate litigation, and family law. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, she is passionate about fostering professional connections within her community and contributing to community service initiatives.
Outside of her legal endeavors, Ms. Ball finds joy in nature, travel, hiking, yoga, and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and her “small farm” consisting of three cats, a dog, and a giant tortoise.
