Catherine Cueva is an Associate Attorney in the Newport Beach office, where her practice focuses on general civil litigation, real estate, and construction defect matters.
Ms. Cueva earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine, where she double majored in Psychological Science and Criminology, Law and Society. While at UC Irvine, she also worked as a Lead Teaching Assistant at the School of Social Ecology.
During law school, Ms. Cueva was awarded the Wiley Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services. She also served as Internal Vice President of the Latinx Law Student Association. In addition, she gained diverse legal experience as a Research Assistant with the UCSF/UC Law Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy, a Contract Analyst at a software startup, and a Corporate Legal Extern with Kaiser Permanente.
Prior to joining BWB&O, Ms. Cueva practiced employment and corporate law in San Francisco.
In her free time, Ms. Cueva enjoys traveling, weightlifting, trivia, and spending time with friends and family.
