Ms. Benson is a member of the General Liability team in Encinitas and a distinguished attorney who combines elite academic credentials with a fierce commitment to proactively defending and protecting her clients. Her strategy is rooted in the belief that the best defense starts long before a complaint is filed. While the objective is to secure the most efficient resolution that is fair, she understands that rigorous defense also requires aggressive motion practice and favorable mediation. Challenging causation and liability against claims are paramount for protection of her clients and overall, justice. Ms. Benson has extensive experience in both commercial and residential real estate, construction defects, and is a vigilant shield, with a track record of securing favorable outcomes for property owners, retailers, management companies and the like. From initial investigation through trial, she currently handles cases involving slips and falls, negligence and catastrophic injury, understanding that a single incident can have impact on a client’s reputation and bottom line.
As a graduate of California Western School of Law, licensed since 2002, Ms. Benson earned her J.D. with honors and served on the Dean’s List. Her knowledge and expertise of the corporate structure effectively allows her to provide superior strategic protection for her clients, facilitate communications and is highlighted by her receipt of the American Jurisprudence Award for Business Organizations. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a minor in Judicial Philosophy.
Outside the office, Ms. Benson stays energized and balanced through hot yoga, high intensity spin classes, and time at the beach.
