Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Ms. Scamardo earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo on a full academic scholarship. While attending law school, she interned for an Arizona ERISA and Insurance Attorney, as well as Toledo City Council where she drafted ordinances and resolutions. During her time at Toledo City Council, Elora made a significant impact on the Environmental Protection and Climate Resilience Commission, a chapter of legislation under the Toledo Municipal Code.
Elora was also a Landlord – Tenant Mediator for multiple Courts in Michigan, and additionally led and trained Peer Law Student Mediators in a Truancy and Conflict Resolution Mediation program at a Toledo Public High School. Ms. Scamardo was a Diversity in Leadership Fellow for the Law and Leadership Institute and was awarded the Joel A. and Shirley A. Levine Public Interest Fellowship in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Prior to joining Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, Ms. Scamardo gained experience in Arizona Workers’ Compensation.
