John Latson is an Associate Attorney at the Los Angeles office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP (“BWB&O”). Prior to joining BWB&O, Mr. Latson primarily defended policyholders in automobile vs. automobile litigation.
Mr. Latson attended Pepperdine University where he earned a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in rhetoric and leadership. He continued his education at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law where he earned his J.D. with a Dean’s Merit Scholarship.
While in law school, Mr. Latson was an editor for the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law. His article, Higher Altitudes and Higher Standards: Advocating the FCC Require Environmental Assessments for Mega-Constellations, won the Janet E. Kerr Award for best student-written article and was published in 2023. Mr. Latson was also Treasurer for the Student Bar Association and represented Pepperdine in the 2021 Sports Negotiation Competition.
Outside of the office, Mr. Latson enjoys playing tennis and golf, playing guitar, competing in bar trivia, mountain biking, and learning about history and philosophy.
