Joyce E. Clifford is an Associate in the Walnut Creek office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP. Ms. Clifford graduated from Notre Dame de Namur University, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She earned her law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. While in law school, Joyce participated in the East San Jose Community Law Center program assisting low-income clients with employment law matters.
Ms. Clifford has over twenty years of insurance defense litigation experience, mainly construction defect, personal injury, and insurance coverage. Her cases have included residential and commercial construction defect, landslide and earth movement cases, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, slip and fall, commercial trucking accidents, property damage, equitable contribution, and bad faith.
Joyce has volunteered her services as an attorney with the San Francisco County Bay Association’s Eviction Defense Project. She has also represented developmentally disabled children seeking Supplemental Social Security with the San Mateo County Legal Aid Society.
Ms. Clifford is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in all of the U.S. District Courts of California.
Joyce is a private pilot and has a passion for aviation. She enjoys wildlife photography and has had the opportunity to visit Africa to indulge her hobby.
