Ruth Rasiah is an Associate Attorney in the Los Angeles office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara.
Ms. Rasiah attended La Sierra University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business & Society with an emphasis in Pre-Law. During her time at La Sierra University, Ms. Rasiah was the recipient of the Yeager Scholarship, for being an outstanding undergraduate student in the Business/Pre-law program. Ms. Rasiah was also a member of Enactus, an organization encouraging university students to take entrepreneurial action.
Ms. Rasiah earned her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles. While in law school, Ms. Rasiah served as a teaching assistant for her Environmental Law Professor and a research assistant evaluating literature related to problems in class arbitration, such as administrative issues, due process issues, and preclusive effect. Ms. Rasiah also externed with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office in the Consumer Protection and Environmental Crimes division. After graduating from Southwestern Law, Ms. Rasiah was an award recipient of Southwestern Law’s Public Service Graduate Program, giving her the opportunity to work with a pro bono law firm as a law clerk.
Prior to joining Bremer Whyte, Ms. Rasiah gained litigation experience working for a law firm that focused on advocating for consumers through the private enforcement of California’s Proposition 65.
In her free time, Ms. Rasiah enjoys spending time with her family and dogs.
