Meet BWB&O’s Employee Spotlight!

Meet Keith! Keith was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. In high school, he was an active member of the marching band, as well as the golf and football teams. After graduating, he attended Howard Payne University, where he continued his football career for two years before transferring to the University of North Texas.
At the University of North Texas, Keith majored in Political Science and minored in Public Administration. He then attended law school at Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
During his undergraduate and law school years, his passion for sports remained strong, leading him to coach youth football and later officiate high school basketball and baseball.
Outside of work, Keith enjoys golfing, watching sports, and rewatching episodes of his favorite television show, The Wire.
Q&A

Q:  What instrument did you play in marching band, and do you still practice today?

A: I was in the percussion section while in band. I specifically played the Bass Drum and Snare drum when I actually marched. Occasionally I still play the drum set.

Q: What do you enjoy most about working in BWB&O’s Arizona office?

A: The caseload I have is interesting and I  get along well with my fun co-workers.

Q:  How do you find motivation to officiate baseball and basketball games after working all week/day? What is the most fun part about officiating high school sports?

A: My motivation comes from a love of sports. I like giving back and participating in something that was so important to me when I was younger. While officiating, I most enjoy interacting with and listening to the crowd during the games.

Q: What was your favorite Louisiana dish while you were in law school?

A:  Crawfish Etouffee

A special thank you to Keith for being part of this spotlight and sharing his experience with us!
