Congratulation to Reno Associate Karen Wagner on receiving her certification to limited practice of law in Nevada in order to participate in pro bono programs. On March 25, 2020, Karen Wagner was appointed to her first pro bono case through the Children’s Advocacy Project under Washoe Legal Services. Ms. Wagner is excited about joining the firm in representing dependent children in the Washoe County court system. In the past, she has successfully represented the County of Marin and individuals in juvenile dependency appeals before the California Court of Appeal First Appellate District.
Karen Wagner is also committed to helping juveniles outside the court system. Even after her move to Reno in October 2019, she has been volunteering with Berkeley Rotary Club in serving cooking meals for homeless teens at a shelter in Berkeley, California.
