Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara had a tremendous victory in the California Court of Appeal and California Supreme Court. At issue on the appeal was (1) whether the Default Judgment in favor of our client exceeded the relief sought in the Complaint, (2) whether the Defendants’ due process rights had been violated by an order for terminating sanctions, and (3) whether the Defendants should have been granted Section 473 relief. The Court of Appeal issued its ruling, affirming the Judgment in its totality and awarding costs. The judgment is valued over $94 million. The California Supreme Court denied Defendants’ Petition for Review.
