Garrett W. Snyder

Garrett Snyder is an associate attorney in the Newport Beach office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP, where he defends public entities and private businesses in high-exposure catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation. Mr. Snyder’s practice centers on public entity defense, including dangerous condition of public property claims brought against municipalities and other government entities under the Government Claims Act. He also defends clients against premises liability, construction defect, personal injury, and property damage claims, as well as claims of negligent hiring, supervision, retention, and training. He represents municipalities, school districts, sports organizations, and private companies throughout California.

Mr. Snyder handles cases from the pre-litigation stage through resolution, including written discovery, depositions, law and motion practice, and expert discovery in complex matters. He has obtained summary judgment on behalf of his clients and has prepared cases for trial. He also negotiates favorable settlements for his clients in a wide range of cases, both informally and through mediation.

Mr. Snyder began his career at Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara in 2017 as a file clerk before leaving to attend law school. He returned to the firm in late 2021 as a law clerk and transitioned into his current role upon his admission to the California bar in 2022. Mr. Snyder earned his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice, with a minor in Business, from Northern Arizona University.

A lifelong Orange County resident, Mr. Snyder spends his free time golfing and outdoors with family and friends.
