April Horn received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of California, Berkeley, after transferring from the University of California Irvine, where she was placed on the Dean’s Honor List for receiving honorary academic performance for five quarters. Thereafter, Ms. Horn received her Juris Doctorate from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, in 2016.
While attending Chapman University, Ms. Horn was enrolled in Chapman University’s Alona Cortese Elder Law Clinic, where she provided free legal services to low-income seniors throughout the county of Orange. She also completed over 40 hours of mediation training satisfactory to the Dispute Resolution Programs Act through the Fowler School of Law Mediation Clinic. At Chapman University, Ms. Horn was also appointed as co-secretary of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
Prior to joining Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP, Ms. Horn worked on employment, labor, and business defense cases. She also clerked for Council on American Islamic Relations and worked as a law clerk for a family law office.
During Ms. Horn’s free time, she enjoys learning about and cooking international cultural recipes, and going to various spa treatments.
