Henok Gebrai attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting. After graduating, Mr. Gebrai worked as a Staff Accountant and an Auditor for a few years, before moving to Japan to teach English. Upon his return, he worked in the service industry, and the armed security industry, while studying for the LSAT in the hope of attending law school. He was accepted on a merit scholarship, and attended and earned his Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law.
While in law school, Mr. Gebrai earned the CALI Award for Excellence in Professional Responsibility and Ethics and was on the Dean’s List for several consecutive semesters. He also served as a board member for the school’s Federal Bar Association chapter, as well as the Cannabis Law Society. Mr. Gebrai worked as a law clerk in BWBO’s Las Vegas Office during his second and third year of law school, and upon graduation and passing the Nevada Bar Exam, continued his employment as an Associate Attorney with BWB&O.
In his free time, Mr. Gebrai enjoys traveling, training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and spending time with his family, including his fiancée and their two dogs (Scotty, a Scottish Terrier, and Jerzi, a Maltese). On Sundays in the fall, you can find Mr. Gebrai on his couch, obsessing over his fantasy football leagues.
