Iva K. Todorova is an associate in the Las Vegas office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara LLP. Her practice focuses on general liability, insurance defense, premises liability, complex litigation and catastrophic injury defense. She is dedicated to providing strategic, efficient, and results-oriented representation while maintaining professionalism in all aspects of litigation.
Mrs. Todorova previously gained experience with the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, Complex Litigation Division, where she worked on complex litigation matters involving high-exposure claims and multifaceted legal issues. This experience enhanced her ability to evaluate risk, develop effective litigation strategies, and advocate on behalf of clients in challenging cases.
Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Todorova gained experience representing builders, developers, and general contractors in commercial and residential construction defect cases. She also has experience defending claims involving catastrophic injury, premises liability, and bad faith in both state and federal courts.
Mrs. Todorova earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, magna cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the William S. Boyd School of Law, graduating in the top third of her class. During law school, she contributed to a first-impression forum selection clause appeal before the Nevada Supreme Court, which remains controlling authority, and assisted in securing a favorable decision in a retaliation claim before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Born in Bulgaria, Mrs. Todorova immigrated to the United States as a child and was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Observing her parents’ dedication to building a new life instilled in her a strong work ethic, resilience, and a commitment to excellence—qualities she brings to her legal practice. She applies these principles by diligently pursuing the best possible outcomes for her clients at every stage of litigation.
In her free time, Mrs. Todorova enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and family, as well as their Golden Retriever, and traveling and exploring new places around the world.
