Robert “Matt” Hughes is an associate at the Newport Beach office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hughes practiced with a small firm in Vista where he gained experience in general civil litigation in Labor and Employment law and Real Property law, as well as in Family law. Prior to his law career, Mr. Hughes was a Law Enforcement officer working multiple patrol assignments, including being a Field Training Officer and Patrol Supervisor.
Mr. Hughes earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Portland State University and his Juris Doctorate from Concord Law School. He is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California and the United States District Court, Southern District of California.
While not working, Mr. Hughes enjoys spending time with his family, being active outdoors, and listening to and playing music.
