Jeffrey’s client is a major casino on the Las Vegas strip. Plaintiff alleged that while on property, she was falsely accused of wrongdoing and assaulted by security, resulting in Plaintiff having to be rushed to the hospital. At trial, Jeffrey argued that Plaintiff, a prior trespasser, should have never been on property to begin with, and it was Plaintiff, not security, who acted aggressively. Moreover, Jeffrey argued that the record was devoid of any evidence that Plaintiff’s alleged injuries, and corresponding medical treatment were causally related. Following presentation of all evidence, the Judge ruled in favor of Jeffrey’s client, resulting in a complete defense verdict.
