Meet Nicara! Nicara was born and raised in California but relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada for college. She graduated and received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in Criminal Justice.
Nicara had known since middle school that she wanted to pursue a career in law, but it wasn’t until participating in a mock trial that her passion grew stronger. During Nicara’s time at UNLV, she joined the Pom/Dance team and also became captain of the Mock Trial team for two years. In 2018, she was a part of the Chapman University Fowler Law School Plus program. Nicara found the program to be extremely rewarding as it consisted of volunteering with multiple legal organizations to help the community of Orange County.
Before joining BWB&O and while she was finishing up her undergraduate degree, Nicara gained experience at her first law firm supporting Criminal Law, Family Law, Civil Law, and Post Conviction Appellate cases. In February 2022, Nicara was hired as a Legal Secretary in BWB&O’s Las Vegas office on Devin R. Gifford’s team. She is planning on becoming an attorney and is currently studying for the LSAT!
Nicara enjoys spending her free time with her husband, dancing, and playing tennis.
